Security Information

Airport checkpoint

In Navoi International Airport, we put the Safety and Security of our customers and staff as our highest priority. To make your journey as safe as possible and to avoid unnecessary delays, we ask you to pay special attention to our security procedures.

At the Airport

To ensure that your journey is a smooth one, please read the latest regulations about what you can and cannot take on board the aircraft.

Hand Baggage

At this time Navoi International Airport operates rule of one piece of hand-baggage per person.

Liquids

The carriage of liquids is restricted. You are advised to pack all liquids in your hold baggage, however you are permitted to carry a small amount of liquid in your hand baggage. Each container must not exceed 100ml maximum volume. These items must be contained within a small, clear, re-sealable plastic wallet, which will be subjected to additional security screening at the security control point.

The new rules stipulate that the plastic wallet must not exceed one litre capacity per passenger – that’s around half the size of a standard A4 piece of paper and must be sealable. The wallet must not be cluttered to allow security officers to carry out thorough checks. You will still be allowed to pack liquids into luggage that you check-in. Passengers will also be allowed to carry in their luggage medicines and dietary requirements including baby foods, for use during the flight.

Note: Incorrectly packaged fluids will be confiscated.

Examples of Liquids include:

- Water and other drinks, soups, syrups
- Creams, lotions and oils
- Perfumes
- Sprays
- Gels, including hair and shower
- Contents of pressurized containers, including shaving foam and deodorants
- Pastes, including toothpaste
- Liquid-solid mixtures
- Mascara
- Any other similar consistency

Large Electrical Items / Laptops

Laptops and other complex items of electrical equipment have to be removed from hand baggage and screened separately.

Before arriving at the airport
