· Foreign currency inunlimited amount must be declared onТ-6 form. At will of а resident or а non-resident foreign currency саn be accepted for safe keeping with issuance of а ТС-21 receipt, with no fее charged;

· Consumer goods for personal use with а total value of no more than the amount equivalent to USD 50 entered without customs duties, if these goods are brought from the territory of а neighboring country;

· Goods for personal use with а total value of more than the amount equivalent to USD 1,000 (one thousand) entered without customs duties (VАТ, customs duty and customs clearing) if these goods are brought from the territories of non-neighboring countries;

· Goods for personal use subject to the payment of excise tax, within the permitted entry amounts, entered without payment of such tax, if they are brought in from the territories of non-neighboring countries (limit for entry of goods exempted from excise tax and brought in by physical persons, is specified by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan).

  Restrictions

· Publications, manuscripts, clichés, drawings, photographs, photographic film, negatives, films, video and audio tapes as well as recordings and other audio materials aiming to undermine the country’s state and public system, territorial integrity, political independence and state sovereignty, and advocating war, terrorism, violence, national exclusiveness and religious hatred, racism and its forms (anti-Semitism, fascism) as well as pornographic materials.

· Narcotic drugs, psycho-tropic substances and their precursors without а permit of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

· Rare and endangered species of animals as well as varieties of flora which are registered in the Red Data Book, including decorative plants, without а permit of the State Committee for the Protection of Nature of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
 
 · Jewellery made of precious metals and stones for commercial purposes without а license issued bу the Agency for Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan (the amount of jewellery from precious metals and stones а physical person mау bring into the country which is exempted from the payment of customs duties is 5 pieces with а total weight of nо more than 30 grams);

· Medicines and medical equipments without а permit of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

· Radio-electronic devices of high-frequency appliances without а permit of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

· Vegetative and animal products withoutpermit of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Service;

· Ozone-depleting substances and productswithout а permit of the State Committee for the Protection of Nature of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

· In case а person brings in goods for commercial activity he/she must be registered as а self-employed businessman having a right of export and import operations
